One of the largest expenses a hotel incurs are wages. It is important that employee’s time at the property be used to maximize performance and profitability. One of the first items EPH will complete with a new management contract is a Time and Motion study, aimed at getting to the root of any problems. During our Time and Motion Study, the EPH management team will complete a total labor and productivity analysis of your property. During our analysis, we observe and interview employees as they complete their duties. We take into account occupancies and heavy check-in and check-out times prior to scheduling our visit so that we can observe the hotel during different levels of demand. Once we have determined where changes are needed, we implement those changes for immediate success.
